My main research interests are winter limnology, ecology of plankton algae and lake
restoration. I am preparing a doctoral thesis which is focused on the effects
of under-ice temperature and oxygen conditionds on the development of lake phytoplankton, and possibilities to apply artificial
mixing to regulate productivity or composition of lake phytoplankton.
