JYU is developing a novel bilingual teacher training programme in early childhood education
The University of Jyväskylä received funding of €300,000 from the Ministry of Education and Culture to develop a functional bilingual bachelor’s degree programme in early childhood education.The aim is to integrate language and early childhood education studies, developing students’ Finnish or Swedish proficiency to a level suitable for the Finnish labour market.
