The next Jyväskylä Summer School will be organized 3 – 14 August 2026 at the University of Jyväskylä. The application period for the Summer School opens in March.

Jyväskylä Summer School - one of the largest and oldest summer schools in Finland - is organized by the Faculty of Mathematics and Science and the Faculty of Information Technology at the University of Jyväskylä.

The Summer School welcomes students from all around the world to learn from top-level scientists, expand their professional network and create new memories.

For the students of the University of Jyväskylä, the Summer School offers a chance to take part in interesting summer courses and get international experience on their home campus.

In January 2026 the City of Jyväskylä honored Jyväskylä Summer School with the Congress Ambassador Award for long-term, committed work for the summer school, which is held regularly and brings together hundreds of academic juniors and seniors year after year to network and learn from each other.
