University of Jyväskylä (JYU) is searching for a top-class experienced researcher (ER, post-dcotoral level) of any nationality interested in working at JYU and for this, preparing a collaborative Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowships (MSCA IF) application with a supervising professor at JYU. The specific call is: EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation Horizon 2020 actions: Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowships – European (MSCA-IF-2018-EF), deadline 12.9.2018.

JYU provides support in preparing the application and invites ER candidates to visit JYU: to attend an application course and meet the supervising professor in May, 2018. The JYU Research and Innovation Services (RIS) will assist the ER and the supervisor with the application, after the ER has found a committed supervisor from the University of Jyväskylä. The ER and the supervisor will write and design the research plan. RIS helps with the technicalities of the  application and provides writing tips.

JYU’s Science Council is providing funded-opportunity for 15 Experienced Researchers to meet with their to-be-supervisors and attend JYU’s Application Course. ER’s are invited to apply together with their supervisors for the JYU’S application course called: the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowship Application Course 2018. To apply send application-form and name of the applicant and the supervisor to ris@jyu.fi, no later than 15th of March 2018.

Selected candidates are invited to meet their supervisor, to visit the research environment, and to attend the 2-day MSCA IF Application Course on 7th - 8th May 2018 at the JYU. JYU Science Council will cover the travel and accommodation costs of the 2-day course (max 3 nights at the hotel, flight and other travel tickets and subsistence costs for maximum three days). In addition, with separate agreement, the supervisor and their department can cover the costs of extra days to prolong the visit when there is a need.
