Nordic Network for Stable Isotope Research

NordSIR -network

Welcome to the NordSIR web-pages!

NordSIR has aimed to enhance collaboration between Nordic and Baltic stable isotope researchers in the environmental and applied sciences, getting the funding from Nordforsk until April 2015. Currently it consists of over 160 researchers and other members. NordSIR activities included:

  • annual Nordic meetings (the last one in Otepää, Estonia 30.9.-2.10.2013)

  • national meetings: last meeting was in Jyvaskyla 26.-27.4.2015

  • workshops, activity ended

  • support stipends for short-term laboratory visits; activity ended in April 2015

  • In addition, NordSIR has collaborated with the EU Cost action SIBAE, maintain web-pages and keeps a Scandinavian SIA laboratory/expertise catalogue. This forum is open for students, post docs, senior researchers and technical staff, as well as manufacturers presenting their latest developments. Our main information channel is e-mailing, but we also try to keep these pages regularly updated.

Do you have something you want to announce to NordSIR members? You can find the pdf-file of members in the page "Members and board". But a better way is to send an e-mail to coordinator or database manager who can forward your information to the updated NordSIR mail list.

NordSIR members in the Otepää meeting 20.9.-2.10.2013.
