The Relevance and Benefits of Research

Memory enables us to guide our behavior based on previous experience. According to WHO ~50 million people world wide suffer from mild to severe memory problems. To be able to help these individuals, it is crucial that we first learn to understand what happens in the brain during normal learning and memory.
