We invite you to explore the new premises of Valteri Centre for Learning and Consulting, Onerva which manifests how teachers, students and architects created the school of the future which makes education accessible for all.

  • 14.00–14.30 Opening Learning Space defining the culture of teachers and instructors. Raija Kattilakoski, consulting teacher at Onerva and Ph.D. student at the University of Jyväskylä
  • 14.30–15.15 Guided tour in Onerva (groups in Finnish and English)
  • 15.15–15.45 Diversity and accessible learning environment: visual and material approaches to education research. Tamás Péter Szabó, post-doctoral researcher, University of Jyväskylä, Centre for Applied Language Studies
  • 15.45–16.00 Feedback and discussion. Architects of the school building Aarne von Boehm and Airi Vesala also contribute to the discussion
