GPAW 2016: Users and developers meeting, June 6-10

Welcome to GPAW 2016: Users and developers meeting, University of Jyväskylä, Finland

The meeting provides an overview of the present status of the open source electronic structure program GPAW. The first two days are dedicated to oral presentations from GPAW developers and users describing the latest developments. Topics include excited state dynamics, electronic transport, orbital-free DFT, many-body methods, exchange- correlation functionals, nonadiabatic dynamics and applications within catalysis and energy materials research. The third morning is dedicated to hands-on sessions, and the rest of the time for developer activities.

The meeting is informal and a perfect opportunity to meet the gpaw community, share experiences, and build networks!
