Registration for IPVI2017 Jyväskylä, Finland, 14-16 June 2017

Registration and payments for the IPVI2017 Conference should be completed via the online registration form, which is available at the end of this page. Please read the registration instructions below.


 Participation Categories and Registration fees (VAT 0%)

  • Reduced fee for Early Bird Registration: February – 10 March
  • Normal Registration fee: 11 March – 19 May
  • Late Registration: from 20 May onwards
  • Deadline for those with a presentation: 17 March
  • Final deadline for registrations: 6 June

 The Conference fee (VAT 0%) includes:

  • Access to the conference sessions Wednesday through Friday
  • Conference material
  • Refreshments during the scheduled breaks and lunch on Thursday and Friday
  • Welcome Reception hosted by the City of Jyväskylä on Wednesday evening

Reductions in the conference fee will not be made for any part of the participation package that is not used.

The fee does not include the following:

  • Lake Cruise and Dinner onboard on the evening of Thursday 15 June – booking and payment through the electronic registration form, EUR 45
  • An Abstract Book will not be printed. Abstracts will be available on the conference website
  • Lunch on Wednesday is not provided – the student restaurant at the venue and the nearby hotel restaurant are happy to serve you
  • Personal insurance  – It is recommended that you have travel insurance 

Accommodation is not included in the registration fee. Further details on accommodation options can be found in the Accommodation section of the conference website. 


 The following payment methods are available

  • Credit cards: VISA, VISA Electron and MasterCard
  • Online banks: Osuuspankki, Danske Bank, Tapiola, Ålandsbanken, Aktia, S-Pankki and Nordea Bank Transfer
  • PayPal
  • It is also possible to request an invoice (invoicing charge EUR 15 will be added).

Please note that it is not possible to save data in the registration form, and that registration and payment must be completed in one session. Therefore, please ensure that you are ready to make your payment immediately upon completion of the registration form (unless you have decided to requested an invoice).

Receipts for credit card and online bank payments are automatically issued to the email address given; receipts for payment against an invoice will be provided upon request only.


The personal information you provide when you register for an event will be stored securely and used only by the conference secretariat and the hosting organization in connection with the administration of the event. Your name, affiliation and email may be published in the official delegate list. Please contact the conference secretariat should you wish it to be removed,


Cancellation policy

Cancellations must be received in writing. A EUR 50 processing fee will be applied to refund requests made by 19 May 2017, eventual bank charges will also be deducted. Refunds will not be given for cancellations received after 19 May nor will they be given for failure to attend or unattended events. Refunds will be processed within 30 days of the conference under the condition that the appropriate banking information has been provided. Please contact the secretariat at regarding all cancellations.
