Registration and payments for the Finnish Conference on Linguistics should be completed via the online registration form at


 Registration deadline is May 7, 2017.

Participation categories and registration fees ( VAT 0 %)

  • Researcher EUR 130
  • Student / postgraduate student EUR 80

The Conference fee includes:

  • access to all Conference sessions Thursday through Saturday
  • conference materials
  • refreshments during the scheduled breaks (Thu, Fri and Sat) and lunches on Friday and Saturday
  • welcoming drinks on Thursday

Reductions in the Conference fee will not be given for any part of the participation package not taken or unattended events.

The fee does not include the following

  • conference dinner on Friday evening, EUR 37 (booking through the electronic registration form)
  • lunch on Thursday
  • accommodation (further details on accommodation options can be found on the Accommodation section of the conference website)

The following payment methods are available

  • Credit cards: VISA, VISA Electron and MasterCard
  • Online banks: Osuuspankki, Danske Bank, Tapiola, Ålandsbanken, Aktia, S-Pankki and Nordea Bank Transfer
  • PayPal
  • It is also possible to request an invoice (invoicing charge EUR 15 will be added).

Please note that it is not possible to save data in the registration form, and that registration and payment must be completed in one session. Therefore, please ensure that you are ready to make your payment immediately upon completion of the registration form (unless you have requested an invoice).

Receipts for credit card and online bank payments are automatically issued to the email address given; receipts for payment against an invoice will be provided upon request only.

The personal information you provide when you register for an event will be stored securely and used only by the conference secretariat and the hosting organization in connection with the administration of the event. Your name, affiliation and email may be published in the official delegate list. Please contact the conference secretariat should you wish it to be removed, ktp2017@jyu.fi


Cancellation policy                                                   

Cancellations must be received in writing. A EUR 50 processing fee will be applied to refund requests made by 23 April 2017. Refunds will not be given for cancellations received after 23 April nor will they be given for failure to attend or unattended events. Refunds will be processed within 30 days of the conference under the condition that the appropriate banking information has been provided.
