Instructions for the presenters

Paper sessions

Each paper session will last for 1.5 hours (90 min.) with three presentations (max.)

The time reserved for a paper presentation is 30 minutes (20 minutes for the presentation and 5-10 minutes for discussion). It is very important that each presenter strictly keeps to this schedule. Congress assistants will help you by keeping time during the talk and the question period. As there are no nominated chairs, the presenters in a particular session are asked to chair each other.

Work groups

Each work group session will last for 1.5 hours (90 min.). The organizer(s) of a particular work group may may allocate the time as best suits their work group.

Uploading your presentation

For the smooth running of the conference it is important that you upload your presentation on the session room laptop. You can do this on the day of your presentation, most preferably 30 minutes before your session starts. During this time there will be a conference assistant available in the session room to help you upload your presentation.


If you wish to use handouts, please bring them with you to the conference.
