From ICT innovation networks to the Moomins, JYUnity has it covered!

Did you know the largest ICT collaboration network in the Nordic countries is being established in Finland? Were you aware that the University’s first accelerator laboratory was in an off-campus basement?

JYUnity, the new online University magazine, features articles about these issues as well as about the prospects of the circular economy, the philosophy of the Moomins, content marketing and much more.

JYUnity continues the tradition of Tiedonjyvä as the magazine for the University of Jyväskylä’s community and stakeholders. It presents the latest news and research from JYU while telling readers more about the people and perspectives behind them.

“We wanted a modern way to regularly communicate about the research and other activities at our University as well as to share more about the people who contribute to them,” says Head of Marketing and Communications Taina Erkkilä.

“We will be publishing new stories on a weekly basis, also in English. All feedback and hints for articles are welcome.”

The name of the magazine refers to the idea of “JYUnity”, the core value behind the University’s dynamic, human-centred community.
