Get study credits from volunteer work with asylum seekers

The students of JYU have a chance at getting study credits from volunteer work with asylum seekers. Focus on this course is put on interacting, listening and finnish civil society skills. For students this is also an opportunity to learn more about communication, building dialogue and teaching civics.

The pilot starts during spring 2019 and is organized in cooperation with Paremmin yhdessä ry, a local development cooperation organization. Students participating on the course are required to take part in the first meeting and introduction day 18.1.2019..  and to submit a final paper. Paremmin yhdessä ry will support the students involved during the course. 

There is an info event 4.12. from 10-12 at OPK 141. Everyone interested to hear more are welcome!
