University of Jyväskylä

Remember to register for academic year 2017–2018 by 31 July 2017!

Each student pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree must formally register for attendance or non-attendance for each academic year.

The student must register for attendance or non-attendance to each of the degree study rights that s/he has.  Registration for academic year 2017-2018 must be completed by 31 July 2017.

Registration for attendance at the University takes place online in the OILI service: (select language from the bar on top of the page). You must also pay the Student Union membership fee to register.

If you cannot register in the OILI service (e.g. if your JY user account is not active, or you do not have internet banking services in a Finnish bank), you can register by paying the Student Union membership fee 130,50 € (academic year 2017-2018) to the Student Union’s account: IBAN: FI30 1581 3000 0339 35, BIC/SWIFT: NDEAFIHH, reference number: 07922. After paying the fee, you must show the receipt of the payment at the Student Services (T-building, 2nd floor). Your registration for attendance will be entered into the student register after this. You can collect the sticker for the student card starting from 1 August at the Student Union Office at Keskussairaalantie 2 or at the Student Services (T-building, 2nd floor).

Please notice that if your right to pursue studies towards Bachelor’s or Master’s degree at the University of Jyväskylä has ended or is coming to an end by 31 July 2017, you cannot register for the next academic year before the decision on extension has been made.

If you fail to register by 31 July or 31 January when registering for the spring semester only, you are automatically removed from the University register. You may, however, continue your studies after re-registration. In that case, you must pay both the Student Union membership fee and the re-registration fee. The re-registration fee is 35 €.
