End date: May 03, 2018 04:30 PM

Location: Seminaarinmäki, Ruusupuisto, RUU D104

In the concluding seminar of the TRIAD Researcher workshop, international family researchers will share good practices in family services and policies that could make Finland, and other countries too, more baby friendly. Keynote speakers include Mark Feinberg from USA, Marie Evertsson from Sweden and Anneli Miettinen and Anna Moring from Finland. The workshop addresses key challenges in family formation (decreasing fertility, postponement of parenthood, inequalities facing diverse family forms) and the policy context shaping the transition to parenthood and co-parenting. The final seminar is open for all those interested in family research. The language of the seminar is English.

The international Researcher workshop Triad has lasted two years and included four seminars. Family researchers from five countries have come together to discuss challenges and innovative solutions related to family forming in Finland and other countries. The workshop is funded by the Finnish Cultural Foundation.
