19th International Symposium: "Modern Science and Practice for Strength and Endurance Training”

The 19th International Symposium on Biology of Physical Activity "Modern Science and Practice for Strength and Endurance Training” is organized by the Neuromuscular Research Center and Biology of Physical Activity, Faculty of Sport and Health Sciences, University of Jyväskylä, Finland.

Our International Symposium in 2018 continues the intensive course series that has been organized since 1995 by the Biology of Physical Activity staff members of the Faculty of Sport and Health Sciences, University of Jyväskylä.

The primary focus of this year’s Symposium is the scientific bases and practical applications of strength and endurance training and their combination. These scientific topics can be utilized in future research as well as in practice for physical fitness purposes. This Symposium is a must for sport science researchers, sport coaches, personal trainers, athletes and fitness enthusiasts on their road to excellence!

The scientific program is composed of several keynote presentations by world leading researchers and coaches from Finland and abroad.
