Additionally, please scan and attach an official transcript of your university records to the application. Students already registered as degree or exchange students of the University of Jyväskylä are not required to submit the transcript.

You can apply to 1- 4 courses (one course per week). For more information on the courses, please see the course descriptions.


UNCEP / ISEP students

Students applying in the framework of the ISEP exchange programme or the UNC-Exchange Programme should submit the ISEP application form/ UNCEP application form to their home university ISEP or UNCEP coordinator, who will forward the complete application to the ISEP office in Washington, D.C or UNC-Exchange Program office in Greensboro, NC. by 11 March. ISEP and UNC-Exchange Program students are welcome to apply to all the courses offered during the Summer School.

Application deadline

The application deadline is 1 February 2016 (11 March for ISEP/UNCEP students).

Students will be notified of the admission to the Summer School by 19 February 2016 by e-mail. An official Letter of Admission will be sent by post at the same time. After receiving the notification of admission, applicants are requested to confirm their participation to the Summer School by 11 March 2016. The courses are arranged if at least 10 students have confirmed their participation to the course in question by 11 March 2016.

Those coming from abroad should apply for accommodation with an online application for accommodation (will be available in the beginning of 2016) no later than 11 March.

Cancellation policy

Participant should inform the International office about cancellation by e-mail  as soon as possible to hsss[at] If the accommodation reservation is cancelled later than one month prior to the day the reservations starts, participant may not be refunded the advance payment of the rent.
