Housing and utilities

Please remember to terminate your tenancy agreement at least one full calendar month before you leave.

Tenancy agreements are usually in force either until further notice or for a fixed period. If the agreement has been made until further notice, it must be terminated in writing one calendar month before moving out. The period of notice is counted from the last day of the month when the notice was given. Example: If you give notice to end your tenancy agreement on 15 June, your tenancy agreement ends on 30 August and you must pay rent until then.

You should also make arrangements with your landlord for checking your apartment, returning your keys and returning the paid deposit to you.

Remember to end the contracts for water, electricity, the Internet, etc., and settle all invoices before leaving.
