Agora - A Meeting Place for Humanity and Technology

Agora is a cooperative network for interdisciplinary research situated in central Finland, in the city of Jyväskylä. Agora emphasizes an interdisciplinary, human-centered approach to information technology and to the future knowledge society, where research, education and enterprise are integrated into one functional whole.

Faculty of Information Technology

Agora Center's reseach projects are from the year 2017 part of faculties´ research.

The Faculty of Information Technology is the largest and oldest in Finland in its branch. Information systems science has been taught at the University of Jyväskylä since 1967. Currently, there are 1600 master’s degree students and 150 postgraduate students studying in the Faculty of Information Technology. The number of staff is 200.
