28.6.2018 — 29.6.2018

Sijainti: Muu, Opistontie 4, Vuokatti
The Post Olympic Winter Games 2018 seminar will be held in Vuokatti, Finland on 28–29 June 2018.

The seminar offers top-level speakers from various Nordic countries, including management, coaching and service staff. Among Finnish speakers are Mika Kojonkoski, who will leave the position as the leader of the Finnish Olympic Committee’s High Performance Unit at the end of June, Olli Ohtonen, coach of the Olympic winner Iivo Niskanen, and Pasi Mustonen, coach of the women’s ice hockey Olympic bronze medal team.

According to Ari Heinonen, Dean of the Faculty of Sport and Health Sciences: “The Vuokatti unit and KIHU contributed significantly to the success of Finns in the Korea Olympic Winter Games. It is great that we get to organise such a prominent sport seminar with a convincing list of speakers. In the future, the faculty wants to be more visible in the field of top-level research in elite sports. The Scandinavian network and this type of seminars fit nicely in this strategy.”
