Sustainable Development Working Group

The lifetime of the working group: 1 February 2015 - 31 December 2016. The group must submit its first intermediate report to the Rector by 31 May 2015.

According to the strategy of the University of Jyväskylä, global responsibility and sustainable development are emphasised in all activities of the University. In addition, by signing the United Nations Higher Education Sustainability Initiative (HESI) for Rio+20, the University is committed to promoting sustainability-related research and education, developing an environmentally friendly campus and sustainable operating environment, participating in international sustainability networks and sharing its expertise, for example.
