Assessment of Theses

From 1 August, 2009, all pro gradu theses, licentiate and doctoral dissertations submitted to the Faculty are assessed on a five-point scale; SUFFICIENT - SATISFACTORY - GOOD - VERY GOOD - EXCELLENT.

The evaluation of Master's Theses

The evaluation criteria are best suited to the assessment of research-oriented reports, but can also be used to assess other types of theses. The instructions are designed to provide guidance for thesis writers, instructors and examiners. The departments are invited to apply them in the way best suited to each department's practices and objectives.
