01.09.2017 - 31.08.2021

The main objective and contribution of the research project is to model Finnish long run growth by establishing and analyzing internationally commensurable long run historical digitized data series for Finland – or to be precise, the area of Finland – from the late 16th century up to 1860s, and link this data to the existing historical data series (from the 1860s to our days).

The project is funded by the Academy of Finland, OP-Bank foundation and the University of Jyväskylä.
