Intercultural Communication minor admissions

Intercultural Communication Minor Programme is an undergraduate level minor consisting of 25 ECTS credits. For more detailed information about the Intercultural Communication Minor, please see the structure and the contents of the programme.

Courses in Intercultural Communication Minor Programme are open to all exchange students studying at the University of Jyväskylä. Degree students (Finnish and non-Finnish) at the University of Jyväskylä wishing to study Intercultural Communication as their minor subject must apply for the right to study.Applying is possible once a year in the spring term.

In Spring 2016, the application period was 1st March - 30th April, 2016. Applying takes place in Korppi. Applying was done by registering for the following course and by filling out the minor application form (survey) attached to the course:

The selection of students is based on the following criteria: letter of motivation, previous success in studies, minor subject need, English language skills, and international orientation.

The quota for new students to be taken into the minor programme is 20, at the minimum.
