Thursday, March 30, 2017  ReCLaS Seminar entitled Language? Change? Society?

As language and communication scholars and educators, we spend a lot of our time writing and talking about language, change, and/or society, but we rarely get the chance to stop and think what these notions mean. This seminar provides an opportunity to do exactly that: reflect, exchange, and develop our understandings of these key concepts. By doing so, we will gain new insights into our own work and how it relates to those of our colleagues. The seminar will thus be a space for lively discussion, community building, and professional reflection.   Date: Thursday, 30 March 2017, 14:15 - 15:45
Place: Ruu101 (Lucina)
No pre-registration or preparation needed. Just bring your willingness to engage!   This seminar kicks off a ReCLaS Seminar Series which encourages critical reflection, exchange, and innovation on language, change, and society. Upcoming seminars will examine each of these concepts in greater depth. More information on the ReCLaS Seminar Series will follow.     You are warmly welcome!
