First day: "John McDowell on conceptual capacities – perception and morality". Sofia Miguens lectures on John McDowell's approach to conceptual capacities, focusing on the philosophy of perception and moral philosophy. Participants go through selections of writings on perception, morality, and 'second nature'. In addition, particular attention will be given to how McDowell's views originated in the philosophy of language, in interpretations of Frege, Russell and Wittgenstein.
Second day: A workshop on title "Conceptions of Inner Space".
