Research Areas
My current research in philosophy concerns my dissertation on environmental and ecological justice. I apply and examine a relational view to justice, which integrates the capabilities approach and recognition theory to justice ramework, in the context of contemporary ecological issues.

I also study sustainable food systems. My recent and forthcoming research in this area has focused on the vulnerability and resilience of food systems and sustainable protein. I examine these issues from the both social sciences and philosophical perspectives.

Publications in TUTKA.
I am also in ResearchGate and Academia.edu.

The Relevance and Benefits of my Research

Environmental and food related challenges increasingly permeate our societies. There are no single right answers for those problems, but philosophy and social sciences help find the "right questions" that help us pay attention to the factors that are most relevant in tackling the new challenges.
