Development of Kangas cyber-secure experimentation smart city platform

The 5K research project and related enterprise projects will develop an experimentation platform for fast-cycle development and experimentation of smart city applications and services. The related enterprise projects will develop and experiment with new smart city infrastructure components, privacy protection for sensor data, as well as an operating and development model for platform ecosystems. This 5K research project aims at supporting and researching the setup of the ecosystem, construction of the underlying platform with open interface architecture, as well as related management model, operating model, business model and privacy protecting techniques. The project will be implemented in Jyvaskyla Kangas district.

The project is executed in the frame of Tekes INKA program (Innovative Cities), and is funded by the EU European Regional Development Fund.
