Dr. Mirva Peltoniemi is Senior Researcher in Technology Management. She received her Dr.Sc.(Tech.) degree from Tampere University of Technology in 2009. Prior to joining JSBE in 2013, she has worked as Academy of Finland Postdoctoral Researcher at Institute of Strategy, Aalto University School of Science and as researcher at Faculty of Business and Technology Management, Tampere University of Technology. Her research focuses on technological change, industry structures and firm capabilities. Moreover, she studies the dynamics of cultural and creative industries, including video games. Her research has been published in, e.g., International Journal of Management Reviews, Technology Analysis & Strategic Management, Games & Culture, Journal of Forest Economics and Management Decision.
