Management and leadership


PhD Teppo Sintonen, lecturer, got his first doctoral degree in sociology in 1999 and second doctoral in leadership and management in 2008. He was designated as Adjunct Professor in 2009.

Sintonen has taught e.g. history of sociology, qualitative research methods, workshop on racism studies at the department of sociology (before 2004), and introduction to management and leadership, change management, multicultural leadership and several courses on research methods at the school of business and economics. He has specialized on narrative research methods. His main research interests are in storytelling organizations and narrative leadership, power in organizations, multicultural organization, diversity management and gender in organizations.
