M.Sc. Akseli Mansikkamäki

Akseli Mansikkamäki

Akseli was born and raised in Tampere, the Manchester, or "Manse", of Finland. Akseli is interested in computational and theoretical chemistry. In January 2014, Akseli began his studies in the Ph.D. program in physical chemistry, conducting theoretical and computational work related to spin interactions and the magnetic coupling constant J. At his time off from work, Akseli enjoys being outdoors and likes vacationing in far-off and nearly inaccessible locations such as the Himalayas. Akseli's research is currently funded by the University of Jyväskylä and the Foundation for Research of Natural Resources in Finland.
