Research Interests:
My research profile ranges from statistical applications to probability, including: computational statistics, Markov chains, Monte Carlo methods, stochastic approximation

Computer generated random numbers can be used in order to approximate quantities whose exact calculation is impossible. These so called Monte Carlo methods are needed for instance in reliable quantification of statistical uncertainty and with large data sets in machine learning.
