How to apply for Master’s  Studies?

Faculty of Mathematics and Science offers three Master's Degree programmes conducted in English. Admissions for studies takes place yearly. We offer our students a unique experience, inspiring learning environment and an opportunity to work with leading academics.

Our English Master's degree programmes are ideal for those interested in science in a broad sense and those willing to understand nature from many perspectives, from atomic level to the organisms. Our programmes provide excellent abilities to follow the current development in science and technology and to graduate as an expert in the rapidly developing field of science. The Master's programme also provides excellent preparation for doctoral studies and an academic career.

If you have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and wish to continue your studies application takes place with a free-form application letter addressed to the Faculty of Mathematics and Science. There are two application deadlines yearly: 30th April and 31st October. Please attach Bachelor degree diploma and transcript of records to your application. Also curriculum vitae and showing motivation for the studies are highly appreciated. It is possible to interview to the candidate to estimate his/her applicability for the studies


  • Bachelor's degree with sufficient studies in the intended major of the Master studies or in subjects closely related to them. For example the major of the BSc degree should be mathematics, physics or theoretical physics or closely related to them if you apply for master studies in mathematics or physics.
  • Adequate command of English
  • Proven interest in Science
