  • Research interests: Sustainable fisheries science in freshwaters, biology and ecology of coregonids, fish bioenergetics, conservation biology, long-term ecological research, aquatic ecosystems.
  • Why and to whom my research is important
    • Ecological, social and economic sustainability in the multiple-use of the inland fish and aquatic resources and the adaptation and survival of fish individuals, populations and communities in the changing environment. The maintenance of freshwater ecosystems and their services are essential for the health societies worldwide.
