Research

  • Why and to whom my research is important
    • Predation is one of the key factors affecting population size of prey species. Fear, the mere presence of predator can significantly affect behavior and fitness of the prey species. I study the spread of fear information caused by weasel predator and its consequences in the prey, bank vole population.
  • Research projects: Mammals and habitat fragmention (Nisäkkäät ja ympäristön pirstoutuminen)
