Research

  • Research interests: Ecology and evolution of host-parasite interactions. Particularly evolutionary ecology of multiple parasite infections, parasite virulence, and interactions between aquaculture fish and their parasites
  • Why and to whom my research is important
    • Our research on interactions among different parasite species and their genetically distinct genotypes and strains aims to answer the question why some parasites and co-infections are more harmful than others. This has direct relevance for prevention of parasitic infections, for example, in aquaculture.
