Research

  • Research interests: Population genetics, evolutionary genetics and speciation, molecular ecology, bioinformatics, gene expression. / Populaatiogenetiikka, evoluutiogenetiikka ja lajiutuminen, molekyyliekologia, bioinformatiikka, geenien ilmentyminen.
  • Why and to whom my research is important
    • How is the information of genes translated into observable individual variation? My research integrates methods from different fields of biology to clarify these mechanisms and their importance to adaptation and divergence. This research will help when predicting the potential responses of and constraints on organisms exposed to rapid environmental change.
