Research

  • Why and to whom my research is important
    • Our research dives into the fascinating world of epigenetics, a mechanism able to change gene expression without changes in the DNA. Using the bank vole, a common small mammal, we explore the impact of the early life environment on an individual’s phenotype, and whether these effects persist to next generations (intergenerational effects) and interact with the current environment.
