Research

  • Research interests: conservation biology, landscape ecology, social-ecological systems, vascular plants, semi-natural habitats. I study social-ecological interactions related to threatened traditional rural biotopes. Combining modern agriculture and nature conservation is essential in order to manage TRBs in a way that promotes biodiversity, is socially acceptable and cost-effective.
