  • Why and to whom my research is important
    • The function and production of freshwater food webs depends on availability of essential ω-3 fatty acids and sterols. My research interest is to study how climate change (e.g. eutrophication, brownification) impact on synthesis and transfer of ω-3 fatty acids and sterols. I also study the importance of terrestrial organic carbon to lake food web by using fatty acid profiles of consumers and diets in Bayesian mixing models.
