Welcome to Nordic Chemistry Learning 2018 conference!

Location: Ylistonrinne, Department of Chemistry
A full range of chemistry learning and teaching topics are on the forefront in November in Jyväskylä, Finland.

The conference has to offer tattooes, doping and intelligent chemistry, generic skills in science education, circular economy and nanoscience, as well as a plethora of other interesting and timely questions in chemistry education. The conference is intended to everyone interested in chemistry learning and teaching regardless of the level of chemistry education – ranging from basic school education to university level chemistry education.

Participating in the conference is free of charge. However, participants do need to take care of their own travel and accommodation costs. The conference is hosted by the Department of Chemistry, University of Jyväskylä and the Central Finland LUMA-centre. The conference takes place on the picturesque Ylistö campus of the University of Jyväskylä, close to the city center and by the lake. The conference language is English but there is no obstacles to use Finnish or Scandinaviska for networking during breaks.

Registration for the conference takes place via the registration form available on the conference webpage. The deadline for the registration is 16th of November, 2018

Apply for short oral communication or for the opportunity to present a poster. The deadline for applying a presentation is 28th of October, 2018.
