The Finnish International Physics Olympiad

Every year five upper secondary school students are selected to represent Finland in Internationl Physics Olympiad. 

The team is selected during the training program. First training letters are sent to students who succeed in the national physics competiton organized by MAOL. Based on the training letter solutions, 10-20 students are chosen to the Northern Baltic Physics Olympiad which is held in Tallinn. Five best Finnish students of the Northern Baltic olympiad are selected to represent Finland in the International Physics Olympiad.

The training team organises additional training to students selected to international competitions.
