Gluon contributions to timelike and spacelike DVCS

Deeply Virtual Compton Scattering is the golden channel to study hadron structure in terms of Generalized Parton Distributions. We emphasize how important are the NLO corrections to that process, and demonstrate in particular that gluonic contributions play a very important role. We illustrate this with predictions for JLab12, Compass-II and EIC-ENC experiments. We also emphasize crucial differences between timelike and spacelike Virtual Compton Scattering.
