Nuclear physics facilities

The Accelerator Laboratory hosts a wide range of facilities and instrumentation which can be exploited in fundamental studies of nuclear properties and related applications. The majority of the instruments rely on the use of the accelerators to induce nuclear reactions and produce exotic nuclei far from stability, whose properties can then be studied in detail.

Via the icons below you can find links to the various facilities and instrumentation available along with brief descriptions of the experimental capabilities and other technical information.
