  • Why and to whom my research is important
    • I focus on Quantum Chromodynamics and applications of its perturbation theory, and on hydrodynamic simulations of ultrarelativistic heavy-ion collisions. My theory group aims at solid predictions for observables measurable in the CERN-LHC and BNL-RHIC collider experiments, based on which the quark-gluon structure of nuclei and the properties of the produced quark-gluon plasma can be determined.
