  •  Nuclear astrophysics

  • Why and to whom my research is important
    • Nuclear properties, and in particular nuclear masses, are essential for understanding the origin of elements in the Universe and astrophysical phenomena such as novae and type I x-ray bursts. My research focuses on studies of nuclear structure and nuclear astrophysics employing novel ion trapping techniques and decay spectroscopy at the IGISOL facility.
