Registry office and archive

The University of Jyväskylä's registry office processes and registers incoming and outgoing documents and contracts. The registry office registers the salient correspondence to a computer based record that is classified by the contents of the documents.

In addition, the registry office attends to the University's archives and is responsible for the University's permanently retained documents. It also has an information service concerning its material.

The registry office also gives extracts from personal files, prices the outgoing post and sorts the incoming post.
