I am a grant-funded doctoral researcher at the Jyväskylä University School of Business and Economics (JSBE). My doctoral dissertation, “A Key Agent of Green Transition in the Oil & Gas Industry: Climate Activist Shareholders,” examines the influence strategies employed by climate activist shareholders and the corporate responses to this increasing scrutiny in carbon-intensive industries. Through this research, I investigate how shareholder activism shapes corporate behavior and governance in the context of the green transition.
My research is supported by competitive funding from the Foundation for Economic Education (Liikesivistysrahasto) and the Kone Foundation (Koneen Säätiö). In addition to my research activities, I occasionally contribute to teaching by delivering guest lectures in the Master’s Degree Programme in Corporate Environmental Management, including courses such as CEMS2170 Environmental Management in Stakeholder Networks.
