I am a member of the ERC Research Project "Decentring Political Economy" (2024-2028) in post as Senior Researcher in the Department of History and Ethnology, University of Jyväskylä, Finland. As an economic historian I am primarily interested in early modern political and economic discourse. My most recent monograph is Constructing Economic Science. The Invention of a Discipline 1850-1950 (Oxford UP 2022). My translation of Max Weber's Wirthschaft und Gesellschaft T.1 was published in 2019 by Harvard UP under the title Economy and Society. A New Translation.
