Tutkimusryhmän kuvaus

Sundberg groups explores the molecular details on phage-bacterium interactions, how the bacterial CRISPR-Cas immunity is formed, and how the mucosal surfaces influence phage-bacterium interactions in pathogenic bacteria using cell culture -based infection models. We also study the role of environmental phagesin the boreal freshwater microbial communities. We are interested in antibiotic resistance and antimicrobial approaches.
